Moses S.S. Chow, Pharm.D.

Moses S.S. Chow, Pharm.D., received his pharmacy doctorate from the University of California at San Francisco. He completed a residency in clinical pharmacy at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, California.

In 1973, Dr. Chow joined the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy at Storrs, where he is currently a member of the Graduate School faculty, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy with a joint appointment in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, and Director of the Drug Information Service at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Chow is also a member of the consulting staff in the Department of Medicine. His current research interests include the clinical pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics of cardiovascular drugs, drug usage evaluation, and biotechnology products.

Dr. Chow has held numerous offices including President of the American Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and Secretary of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. He is the recipient of several visiting academic appointments including Visiting Professor at Ahandong Medical University in 1994 and Wei Lun Visiting Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1995. He is currently a member of the Clinical Trials Committee of NIH, NHLNI and Expert panel of cardiorenal drugs of USP. Dr. Chow has written numerous book chapters and is the author or coauthor of approximately 150 articles.
