Dr. Pengyi Zhao is an experienced expert in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis. With a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Dr. Zhao brings invaluable expertise to the field. Currently at AstraZeneca, his role involves pivotal contributions to large biomolecule research and development. He specializes in developing cutting-edge structural mass spectrometry and proteomics methods for characterizing therapeutic drug products. Pengyi's work also revolves around supporting and overseeing the rigorous processes involved in filing regulatory applications for Investigational New Drugs (INDs) and Biologics License Applications (BLAs), which are pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance and the successful advancement of pharmaceutical development initiatives.
